                  Corpse of jewellery

My work expresses the life cycle using the process of decomposing jewellery.

After I ate chicken wings, lamb chops and various types of meats with bones inside, I took the bones and assembled them to make jewellery.

I sprinkled gold, silver, glass beads, hair, money, salt and wool fibre on it. They had a different value from the past, and what people value depends on the time, place and culture, so I used them to express the difference in value. The relationship with bone and valuable materials is the same relationship as the original bone and flesh.

Once it becomes jewellery and people wear it, the materials are going to be decomposed. After bone comes out again, the bone has a different expression. The bones are going to die twice.  It is a dead body of jewellery.
